I agree with Bud on the fact that racism goes both ways. The black hatred was built up from years of oppression and once they had become free, they weren't truly citizens. The rappers that hate whites hate us because we deserve it. How would we feel if we were shipped off from our homes to a life of working with no pay, horrible conditions, and people who hate us because we're different? Then, we're free, but there's a catch, we can't use the same systems as our former masters, we can't vote, and if they hit us, we can't hit back, otherwise we're in some deep crap. That's how it was for African-Americans up until the 1960s, from the beginning of America, to the 1960s... That's about 300 years.

Some whites (in the deep south) hate blacks because the government made them give up their slaves, the main source of labor. Bitterness is passed down from generation to generation, slowly falling apart, but still there, and we see that today.

Maybe, apart from the governmental changes Obama will bring, people might see past the anger and realize that just because someone's different, doesn't mean they should be ridiculed. We can only hope...

P.S. The song in the video is the way rap should be, not the gangster and hoes rap that clogs the music industries arteries. Anti-government, or anti-hate.

PEACE!

Your reference to racism appears to lead a person down a path of "white against blacks". White people voting for McCain because he is "white". From what I can tell, there apears to be black people voting for Obama just because he is "black". Racism and bigotry are being used on both sides of the ticket.Too bad. On another note, I really dislike when someone misrepresents or misleads using facts. People need to take time and research issues such as Ayers relationship to Obama. Reds are misleading people into thinking there is a "best friends" relationship between the two. That's false. On the other hand, your representation of McCain "crashing 7 planes" is also false. Or the implication that McCain being a member of the "Keating 5". Can't we (red and blue) just look at the men for who they really are and what they can do for the future of our country. Lets stop blaming race and quoting "false or misleading facts". If so, maybe we can elect the right person for our country
