Call me a wine snob or something a little more degrading if you’d like, but I simply cannot accept (or get my head around) a pop-top can of wine.
Swedish designers Jens Anderson and Jonas Forsman have combined their creative efforts to create a colorful, recyclable vessel in which to distribute vino.
Isn’t a good wine something to be viewed, swirled, smelled, poured into attractive stemware and raised in a celebratory toast? Maybe.
But hey it kind of resembles a wine bottle. If you squint your eyes, you just might be fooled to think…maybe… ah hell, it’s just a bad idea through and through.
Save the cans for Bud, and keep serving my Zin in Riedel.
