We all know it: that all-too-familiar image of the uniformed officer standing curbside, pointing his oversized speed-pistol at passers-by. It’s etched into our brains. We react instantly (mostly triggering a scared stomp of the brake pedal) and have been psychologically trained to instantly slow the car down when such an image appears.
Landon Wilburn (11 years old) has recently been instilling the same fear into drivers with his Hot Wheels Radar Gun (fully hackable btw). It’s a fully-functional speed gun (can be purchased at your local Wal Mart) and Landon has been having some fun scaring the bejeezus out of drivers in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
“When I saw it happening, I got the biggest kick out of it,” said resident George Ayers, 61. “People were locking up their brakes when they saw him.”
Question: What ever happened to marbles or a Lincoln Logs?
